The Front Parlor is on the north end of the oldest part of the house. The room, with its original plaster walls and sloping pine floor, has been used as a law office and is now a formal parlor. Two large windows provide abundant light. The current owners have used this room as an auxiliary dining room during the holidays. If the current dining room was incorporated into the kitchen to form a large family room, the Front Parlor could easily be used as a main dining room.
The Back Parlor overlooks the rear porch and features plaster walls, original pine floors and exposed ceiling beams, and a fireplace. It is less formal than the front parlor and would make a good home office or library.
